Corona Virus / Covid-19 - Algarve Region Update
We are very glad to announce that the government of Portugal has defined its plans to ease restrictions of lock-down and transition to normality.
If you are thinking of the Algarve for your summer holiday or for your yacht charter destination then this is great news!
As of today, May 04th, the first easing of measures came into force, the next easing will be progressive and expand to more areas and will take place on the 18th May. Should these first phases go to plan then we should see a return to a new normality at the end of May / beginning June
That´s not to say things will be exactly as before, we will of course have new rules to follow to make sure everyone is kept safe and well and these may include masks, and hand sanitiser along with social distancing - much as we are all now used to. We may have to adjust the group sizes on board but be assured we will do what ever is required to welcome you all back the the Algarve again!
The upside is that Portugal and especially the Algarve has been far less affected by the pandemic than most of Europe and will be seen as a "safe destination" for those desperately in need of a summer holiday. We will be here waiting for you.
We are now accepting reservations for yacht charters in the Algarve for the summer season and yet continue to reassure you that should the situation change we can offer a complete reschedule of the trip at no extra charge or if your trip is cancelled of course a full refund.
