I was born in Faro but raised in the beautiful town of Quarteira, right here in the Algarve.
I’ve been working with boats for over 10 years now, and honestly, I’ve grown to love every part of it. What I enjoy most is meeting people from all over the world who come to experience this amazing coastline. It’s such a great feeling to know I can make someone’s holiday even better and give them memories they’ll never forget. When I’m not out of work, I like to keep active, like hitting the gym, catching up with friends, or following football and Formula 1 (I’m a big fan!).
I’ve also had the chance to travel a bit, visiting Spain, Czechia, Germany, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Out of all those places, Czechia really stood out to me. The people were super friendly, the food was incredible, and the architecture just blew me away.
Before I started working with boats, this wasn’t exactly where I saw myself, but once I got into it, I realised how much I enjoy it. The marina is such a beautiful place to work, and the team here is like family. We always aim to keep the standards high, and that’s something I take a lot of pride in. If I could go anywhere in the world, Asia would be at the top of my list. I’m really curious about the culture, the food, and the people there. It’s definitely on my bucket list.
As for working outside of Portugal, I haven’t yet, but for now, Portugal has everything I need, and my family is here, so I’m happy.

Ever since I was little, my parents would take me out on boats, so it's hard to imagine life without the ocean nearby. These days, I divide my time between the Algarve and Coimbra, where I'm studying for a degree in Law. It's been a big change, with lots of travelling between the two, but it's also been an incredibly rewarding experience.
A fun fact about me is that, despite being 100% Portuguese, people often speak to me in English because they assume I'm a foreigner. I've been told I look British, Russian, and even Scandinavian! Once, I even ended up in the wrong queue at the airport because of it. Sometimes I correct people other times I just go along with it and keep the conversation going in English.
In my free time, I love travelling, spending time with friends, dancing, cooking, and trying new things. I've travelled across Europe and Africa, and my favourite destination so far has been Morocco. I was born in France, but moved to Portugal when I was five years old. As the son, grandson, and nephew of fishermen from Albufeira, I've been on boats since I was just two years old. Over the years, I've gained extensive sailing experience through regattas across the Algarve and have completed crossings to Santa Maria, São Miguel, Porto Santo, Gran Canaria, and, in 2013, I crossed the Atlantic to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean.
A fun fact about me is that I'm an open book. I love sharing my knowledge and learning something new every day from both my colleagues and our guests.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, practising outdoor sports, and attending local festivals.
