Vilamoura Art - The lost Warhols

Monday, 13 June 2016 - Vilamoura Art

The Iconic artist, Andy Warhol, is brought back to life through this stunning exhibition on Vilamoura Marina of photos previously thought to be lost. Karen Bystedt, a Los Angeles based photographer took the images in 1982 yet they were not made public until 2012 when the negatives were discovered in a garage.

The images have been enhanced through a co-operation of Portuguese and international street artists adding and urban edge to the works. The exhibition is free of charge and is located in the award winning Vilamoura Marina. The exhibition is also a testament to V-Art an incentive whole heartedly supported by the resort with the aim of promoting local and international art initiatives in Vilamoura.
